WELCOME TO THE PIPEMAC
The PipeMac System
Designed specifically to provide for the safe installation of gravity flow pipes in open cut trenches, operatives are no longer required to enter the trench.
Stemming from its unique handling, placement and compaction systems, operatives are no longer required to enter the trench.
Long considered one of the most dangerous environments on construction sites, removing the need for personnel in the trench, eliminates all hazards associated with human-machine interface in the trench.
The PipeMac System doubles productivity ensuring crew savings of €2,000.00 per day.
The System
The CH30 Pipe Handler Attachment
Specification and Operation
- Compatible with Excavators from 18 to 35 Tonne
- 360° Slew Drive Rotator providing controlled positioning of pipe
- Pipe carrying beam with a SWL 2200kg allowing it to carry and install Concrete pipes from DN300 to DN900
The PH30 Pipe Handler Attachment
Specification and Operation
- Compatible with Excavators from 18 to 35 Tonne
- Pipe carrying beam with a SWL 1000kg allowing it to carry Twinwall pipes from DN200 to DN1200
- The expanding in-pipe gripping pads provide a reliable means of handling and installing pipes
The Bedding Compactor
Specification and Operation
- Compatible with Excavators from 13 to 25 Tonne
- Hydraulically powered reciprocating pole compactor that simultaneously compacts the shingle around the bed and haunches of the installed pipe, using a 60 second pass either side of the pipe.
The system allows the installation of gravity flow pipes in Concrete, UPVC and Clay to depths of 5 metres without requiring any operatives in the trench.
The pipe laying process is carried out within a controlled exclusion zone. Two excavators operate within the exclusion zone supported by an operative positioned outside the exclusion zone.
Incorporating patented technology, The PipeMac X30 System
Manufactured in Ireland and now available for delivery, worldwide.
