WELCOME TO THE PIPEMAC
The PipeMac X30 System
Designed specifically to provide for the safe installation of gravity flow pipes in open cut trenches, operatives are no longer required to enter the trench.

Stemming from its unique handling, placement and compaction systems, operatives are no longer required to enter the trench.
Long considered one of the most dangerous environments on construction sites, The PipeMac removes the risks associated with operatives working in trenches together with the human-machine interface related dangers when pushing pipes home.

The PipeMac System doubles productivity ensuring crew savings of €2,000.00 per day.
The System

The Pipe Handler Attachment
(Patent Pending)
Specification and Operation
- Compatible with excavators from 18 to 30 Tonne.
- Simple connection — Top Frame fits to standard Quick Hitches
- Pipe carrying beam with a SWL 2200 kg
The Compactor Attachment
(Patent Pending)
Specification and Operation
- Compatible with excavators from 13 to 25 Tonne.
- Hydraulically powered reciprocating pole compactor to simultaneously compact pipe bedding and side fill shingle with a one minute pass each side of the pipe.

The PipeBot
(Patent Pending)
Specification and Operation
- Controlled from the lead excavator cab, the PipeBot travels within the pipe with a camera and a pipe laser target on board. The camera is linked to a viewing monitor mounted in the lead excavator cab.
- With The PipeBot positioned behind the socket of the receiving pipe, the camera provides a clear view of the pipe to pipe connection, allowing the excavator operator to verify that a complete and correct joint has been achieved. The system allows video footage of the connection to be captured and stored.
- Following connection, The PipeBot travels to the near end / socket end of the pipe whilst being centered on the bottom of the pipe. The laser target is then viewed directly from the excavator cab allowing the operator to make final adjustments to the line and gradient of the pipe.
The system allows the installation of gravity flow pipes in Concrete, UPVC and Clay to depths of 5 metres without requiring any operatives in the trench.
The pipe laying process is carried out within a controlled exclusion zone. Two excavators operate within the exclusion zone supported by an operative positioned outside the exclusion zone.
